A large part of the municipality's cultural and leisure activities takes place in close collaboration with an engaged association life, where we together create good opportunities for movement, meetings, and community.

The custodian positions belong to the Leisure unit, which is responsible for the operation and development of the municipality's sports facilities. The unit works closely with Association Service and other parts of the administration to create safe, well-maintained, and accessible environments for associations, activities, and visitors. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a custodian, you will be an important part of the team working with the operation, maintenance, and coordination of Borlänge municipality's sports and cultural facilities. The work is varied and practical, where you contribute to ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for both associations, visitors, and the general public.

The job responsibilities may include:

• Operation and supervision of sports and leisure facilities
• Lawn care and ice maintenance
• Ongoing facility maintenance
• Collaboration with colleagues within the Leisure unit and Association Service

You help create good experiences for the residents of Borlänge and visitors and contribute to the sustainable and long-term development of our facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have completed high school education and have experience in the custodian profession or similar tasks. The work involves daily driving of a loader or tractor, which means you need to have good experience with this. Therefore, a B driver's license is also a requirement. You need to have basic computer skills and a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as the role involves many contacts and collaboration with both colleagues and associations and visitors.

It is an advantage if you have experience operating an ice machine and knowledge of refrigeration mechanics or pump systems. Language skills beyond Swedish are advantageous, as well as additional driver's license qualifications.

As a person, you are handy, responsible, and solution-oriented. You enjoy a varied job, find it easy to collaborate, and take your own initiative when needed. You work in a structured manner, have a good sense of order, and meet people with a sense of service and a positive attitude.
